At first I wasn't interested because I thought it was
yet another Irish religious war movie. I'm really aggravated
at all
of
those folks for not figuring out a solution.
So I didn't
want to read it.
My girlfriend made me rent the DVD (or
was it the video?
I'm old...I forget—what was I saying?) and I was in
love for life...
Soon after—get this for lucky—I dropped off some
books at my local library. And sitting there on the "for
sale" table was this book...for 50 cents! I couldn't
believe it...I've read it a dozen times, and can't recommend
it highly enough.
Now, you KNOW I had to get the DVD eventually.
I watched the VCR video until it wore out, so it was
buy-a-DVD time...
Now that's good, and all is well...I watch it often...but
then of course I wanted all the music! I
had to have it...
So---I'm now broke, but fully Bridgeted...and supremely
happy...but nooooooo...Along comes the
sequel!
Da
DVD That Started the Neurotic Obsession... Of course,
Hugh Grant and Colin Firth may have had something to
do with that.
Then came the book: SO RARE! The book was
very different than the film, but was nonetheless a total
treat!
